    Designed by Al Charpentier and patented by Commodore. The VIC-20 was one of the first home home computers. It was below the price average for the time which made it really successful making it the first computer to sell more than one million units.

    1982

    The FRED Robot or Friendly Robotic Education Device was made Nolan Bushnell. It was designed as a toy for kids between the ages of 6-15. Sadly it never made it to the market.
  • 1984

    1984

    Macintosh was released by Apple. It was the first successful mass-market all-in-one personal computer. It had a graphical user interface , built in screen, and mouse.
  • 1988

    1988

    Mathematica by Stephen Wolfram. It is a symbolic programing language used in mathematical, scientific, academic, and engineering fields. Mathematica is an ecosystem for mathematic functions and equations.
  • 1989

    1989

    Gameboy made by the company Nintendo. It has been one of the most successful hand held systems of all times also thanks to the games like Mario and Tetris.
