On April 17 1961 the invasion started the 1400 Cuban refugees Landed at the swampy bay of pigs. But a force of 20000 Cuban forces easily deafeated the Cuban refugees and captured 1100 of there men. The United States Government payed a ransom of 53$ million in medicine and food.
