Course Project

    Introducing to course project: Students will be grouped in 4
    Students will be grouped in 4 or 5 people to create many different prism as class project. This project will be 5 percent of your total grade. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to find the volume, perimeter and surface area of the individual group's prism that provided.

  • Group 1: Work together on your project--cube

    Group 1: Work together on your project--cube
    This is when group one should start working on your project. You will need to create a 10" cube. Show your calcuation on a seperate piece of paper of how you come up with the toal surface area and volume.
  • Group 2: Work on building your triangular prism.

    Group 2: Work on building your triangular prism.
    Group two need to start working on building your triangular prism. Don't forget to show your calculation on a seperate piece of paper. Be creative!! :)
  • Group 3: Start your group project--Sphere.

    Group 3: Start your group project--Sphere.
    You are given that the radius of the circle is 4". Build your sphere with the given information and don't be forget to write down what the surface area and volume of the sphere. Have fun!! :)
  • Group 4: Build your Hexagonal prism

    Group 4: Build your Hexagonal prism
    Many sides does a Hexagon have? How do we find the total surface area of a hexagon? If is kinda challenge project, but it is doable. Have fun!!! :)
  • Group 5: It's your turn to show off--rectangular prism.

    Group five need to start working on your project. It is your turn to show what you guys could do with your 4x5x7 rectangular prism. Be creative. Check with me if there is any question.
  • Finish up your projects: make them look attractive.

    Due date is approaching soon so please manage your time carefully and please don't hesitate to ask me any question about your project. Remember, hard work will pays off!! :)
  • Last day to edit your project in class.

    This is your last day to wrap up your project in class. If you don't finish, you can your project home and turn it in before class starts on Monday so I can display all the project in the front desk to show your classmates. Good luck!!

    Last day to turn in your project. Will be be selecting the best one for this class to compete with my other four classes.
  • Election Day :)

    Students will have a chance to vote which project is most creative. 1st =surprise one for the group :), 2nd=$10 gift card for each group member
