This was important because Apple now entered the technology playing field and the Mancintosh was affordable at $2,500.

This was important because more people were able to create/edit videos with the cheaper software and hardware of Video Toaster.

    A very popular first-person shooting game. People lost interest in games like Halo and Counter-Strike for a little while. Doom players were able to customize levels and appearence. This was important in computer history because it greatly increased demand in the gaming industry.
