  • Bayardo San Romans wedding

    This happened six months prior to Santiagos death.

  • The Narrator is Introduced

    Soon after Santiago woke up which was 5:30 am, the narrator woke up too the alarm bells.

  • Santiago Goes to mothers house

    At 6:05 Santiago goes to the mothers house to get medication for his headache.

  • Victoria Guzmán the cook

    Victoria was explaining how it wasn't raining that day or throughout the whole month of February. That includes the day that Santiago had been feeling ill.

  • Divina and Victoria Were told

    They were told that Santiago was going to be killed but were unsure of whether the plan was going to go through or not. They said they were seduced by Ibrahim Nasar who was Santiagos brother.

  • The Local Milk Shop

    Pablo Vicario along with his brother Pedro Vicario, and Santiago are waiting at the local milk shop for the Bishop. They were wearing darker wedding suits and had knives wrapped in newspaper.

  • The Breakfast

    Everyone went to Breakfast accept for Santiago.

  • Narrator visits Maria

    She goes to visit Santiago but states that she will not sleep with him.

  • Santiago's Murder

    Occurs on a Monday (3) At this point the Bishops boat has disappeared and Santiago has been essentially murdered.

  • Awakened by the Bishop

    The whole house had been awakened by the bishops steamboat. There was a letter found under the doorway that was found after Santiagos death explaining that they were going to kill him.

  • Santiago officially is seen dead

    He is seen dead by some people flat on his face.
