this document stated that canada is now an independent country and can make thier own laws without having to ask the permision of britin.

the new deal was an attemt from our prime minister R.B bennett to help our nation through the "Great Depression". the new deal was promised better taxation system, a maximum work week, a minimum wage, closer regulation of working conditions, unemployment insurance, health and accident insurance, a revised old-age pension and agricultural support programs.
