Fredric Peters went in the royal navy at age 16.

Peters served abord HMS meteor during the first world war. It was torpedoed by a german cruiser. Peters rushed to the burning engine and saved the ship.

Peters was decorated again for his skills in attacking enemy submarines

Flying of the ship caused him to be blinded in one eye, but was lucky enough to to be one of few survivors.

During the Second World War Peters saw action during an invasion of North Africa. On November ,1942, Peters ship entered enemy harbour the vessel was Damaged by point-black fire. He did land the ship and sucured the lines so that the surviving troops could disembark, but directly took a hit in the engine room. Peters flew off the ship!!

5 days later while flying back to report his mission his plane crashed into the sea... he was killed.

Peters was awarded the highest decorations for valour he could receive from the United States and Britian - U.S distinguished Service Cross and the Victia Cross
