established because the Soviet Union saw the formation of NATO as a threat. Members include Soviet Union, East Germany, Czecholovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Albania. -

Established in order to maintain supply and price of oil. -

Qubec wanted to break away from Canada to form its own country due to cultural differences (mainly language and religion) the end result was one country, but Qubec was its own province. -
