Alexander later on married the daughter of King Darius of Persia. Roxana in 328 B.C and she died in the year of 324 B.C

Before he died, he reached the Indus River in 327 B.C, his army had been fighting for 7 years and more than 11,000 miles so his soldiers refused to go any further. On the way back to Greece, Alexander became ill. He died of a fever at the age of 32 and never "ruled" his empire and left it behind and later on crumbled down.

Alexander the Great became King of Macedonia after the death of his father. As a skilled general, Alexander conquered a vast empire. He spread Greek ideas to unify his huge territory. He showed respect for the cultures of the people he conquered as well. Alexander died in the month of June, year 323 B.C.
