Having enjoyed Economics as a TEE subject in Year 12, I continued with a Bachelor of Economics as my undergraduate degree at The University of Western Australia, majoring in Money and Banking, International Business Economics and Entrepreneurship.

I began my Masters of Teaching, a two-year post-graduate course in July 2012, specialising in primary teaching.

I completed my Bachelor of Economics in the Spring of 2012.

I started volunteering for a primary school's Intensive English Centre, assisting teachers in delivering reading and writing programs and returned as a weekly volunteer until present.

I undertook my orientation practicum, a 2-week block of teaching at a public school teaching a Year 2/3 class.

I completed my exploration practicum, a 3-week block practice at a public school teaching a Year 5 class.

To add to my teaching experience, I began offering my services as an online tutor in areas of Chinese, Economics and general mathematics/English tuition to children.

I spent 3 weeks in duration in Hong Kong as a volunteer at 3 different primary schools, ranging from private to government schools. I facilitated in creating English learning programs, making physical and digital resources and teaching oral skills.

I began working for a local council in an Educator role, facilitating holiday programs as well as before and after-school care.

I successfully undertook my final immersion practicum, a 6-week block practice at an independent primary school teaching a Year 3/4 class.
