    Europeans needed cheap labor to work the sugar and coffee plantations of the Americas, so they turned to African slaves. Since the natives dyed working in mines or from disease, Africans became the slaves in the Americas.

    Cortes arrives the Aztec's capitol of Tenochtitlan, and is percieved as a god in armor by Montezuma and his people. Soon after Cortes defeated the Aztecs with guns, and disease.

    Pizzaro conquers the Incan empire
    Francisco Pizzaro and his men successfully kidnapped and killed Atahualpa, the leader of the Incans. After their leader's death, the Incans were no match for Pizzaro, and the Incan empire fell.
