  • Beginning of the Arab Revolt

    The Ottomans were being controlled by the young turks. These young turks were brutal on the Arab people, banning the official language of Arabic. Even arresting Arab nationalist figures in Damascus and Beirut. This slowly built up the anger in the Arabs. Which led to the Arab revolt against the Ottomans.
  • The First Shot

    Leading the arab army known as the Sharifian Army. Huessein bin Ali Al-Hashimi, wanted to liberate the arab lands from the ottomans. The first shot instead of waiting for a response from the ottomans were fired in Mecca. Signaling the beginning of the Arab revolution against the ottomans. To push for freedom.
  • Supplies for War

    The Arab, Sharifian army, was poorly equipped. Having to rely on allies. The British and the French helped support the Arabs in their revolt against the Ottomans. Since the Ottomans were strongly equipped in artillery, the Sharifian army were supplied weapons by the British forces.
  • Ambush and Attack

    Starting of the year 1917, the arabs have been pushing the Ottomans back. With the support and help of their allies. One of them being T. E. Lawrence a massive support from the British army he heavily supplied weapons to the arabs in order to win. In one of the arabs ambush on the Turks. They planted over 500 charges on the railways of the turkish supply trains and blew it up giving them an upper hand.
  • Ending and Betrayal

    After winning many battles, the ottomans finally surrender and offer an armistice. To which the arabs agreed on. The arabs had belived they were going to get their lands back as promised but the British and French had other plans on seperating borders for their own good. Which led to the Sykes-Picot Agreement, leaving the arabs promises in the dust. For the colonial powers to decide over the land.
