Camp David Accords
After Egypt announced they wanted peace with Israel, President Jimmy Carter invited Sadat and Israel Prime Minister to Camp David. There they reached an agreement call the Camp David Accords. -
Intifada
In 1987 Palestinian resentment of Israeli occupation boiled over into a rebellion called the Intifada. -
Second Intifada
After relations with Israel and Palestinian leadership soured, the second intfada began. This time youth were joined by security forces with guns.
