Jews created kingdom called Israel . In 73 A.D the Roman empire conquered Palestine and the Jews were forced to scatter throughout middle east and around the mediterranean sea. The Palestines got to stay with other groups, and people called Arabs. -

Palestinians were afraid that the Jews were coming to rule over Palestine with the support of other stronger countries. At the end of World War I, the fears of the Palestinians became reality. Great Britain, who had helped other countries defeat the Ottoman Empire in World War I, took control of Palestine.
