    Columbus arriving in the Bahamas was a significant event because he started the urge to colonize the Americas. If colonizing the America's hadn't happened we would not be in America to this day which would be an extremely sad thing.

    Cortes conquers Mexico in the Name of Spain 1519-1521

    Cortes conquering Mexico was a significant event because Mexico was mainly Aztec driven at that time. Until Cortes came and was portrayed as their "God".
  • Aug 31, 1522

    Magellan's vessel Completes Circumavigation.1519-1522

    Magellan completes the first circumnavigation which was the first ship to sail around the world. This proved that the America's weren't really the West Indie's like Columbus thought.

    Pizarro kills the Incans

    Pizarro invaded the America's with the idea of finding gold. Being greedy as he was he went into America without trying to maintain civil ties with the Incans. Pizarro practically destroyed the Incan Empire.

    Queen of England is established

    Elizabeth the first becomes the queen of england, This is significant because she fought to rid England of Catholics and help England become only Protestant.
  • Egland defeats the Spanish Armada

    England defeating the Spanish Armada gave England the super power over the oceans and in Europe. The Spanairds economy took a turn for the worse and has never recovered from that.
  • Battle of Acoma ended

    Acoma people were captured and killed by the Spanairds. This is significant because it caused many relations between the Europeans and the Native's to become strained or tense.
  • King of England Decided

    James the first becomes the King of England, This is significant because King James helped to fund the first English expidition to the America's and the first settlement there. Named after him, Jamestown, was a struggling colony for the first few years.
  • English landed near Jamestown

    The English landed in the Montazuma River on the first trip to the Americas. They colonized and settled in what's known as Virginia. The English named the settlement Jamestown.
  • English Civil War Broke Out

    The civil war in England was caused by the Parliements and the Royalists. The Civil War ended with the beheading of Charles the first. It began with King James as to the fact that he had less money than Parliement.
