    Qin Dynasty forms: C

    This Dynasty began what's now known as Imperial China. Emperor Qin himself created a strict legal code to ensure his ranking as emperor. Qin also created the now famous wall of China, which was later improved during the Ming Dynasty. Qin was responsible for unifying the legal code, which would unify everything made in Chnia measurement wise to ensure proper trade.

    http://www.ancient-egypt.org/ By this time, Rome has tooken over Egypt, and it had split into two parts. Egypt was in the Byzantine Empire, and most of them had turn to Christianity. About the only remnants of Egyptian Religion was a temple used for cult practices. After that, Egypt and its lifestyle faded into history.

    Bablyon is Formed: M

    A new empire has formed in Mesopotamia, Babylon. It streched all the way from modern day Egypt to modern day Iran. Babylon was originally inhabited by the Amorites, until Hammurabi's empire took it over. Babylon gradually grew over time until it came under the rule of Assyria.

    This civilization is associated with the Indo-Aryan culture, and is home to some of the oldest Indo-European texts. This civilization is arguably an Indus Valley one, or a Indo-Aryan migration.

    Zhou Dynasty forms: C

    The Shang's neighbours, the Zhou Dynasty, eventually overcame the Shang and defeated them in battle. The Zhou dynasty then took what was once the Shang and the Xia Dynasty's rule of China. However, this came to a crashing end when the king was killed by a few of his own people. The Zhou Dynasty lost its power thereafter in 256 B.C.

    After the mysterious Xia Dynasty, the Shang came in and took their place. Unlike the Xia Dynasty, the Shang left records about themselves. Most of these records were written of turtle shells or bones. They showed diffent aspects of life in the Shang Dynasty.

    Start of the New Kingdom: E

    http://www.ancient-egypt.org/ With the Hyksos being removed from Egypt, it will flourish once again. An Egyptian by the name of Ahmose was put into power. With his leadership, Egypt became the most powerful nation in the near east by greatly expanding its borders. Ahmose also had an agressive policy with Asia and Nubia, which seeped its way down into his successors, Thutmosis I and III.

    The Xia is bellieved to be the first of the tree Dynasty that ruled China. However, there are no records proving its existance. Its only been passed down by Chinese legend. This Dynasty, like the other three, colonized by the Yellow River Basin.
  • Assyrian Kings Conquer foreign Lands: M

    Assyrian Kings set out to conquer foreign lands. They were successful in taking down Mesopotamia as well as eastern and western lands around them. Uner the rule of the Assyrian Empire, people had to pay tribute to their kings and obey them. If they didnt, the kings would send out their armies to kill them.
  • Mesopotamia's End: M

    The end of Mesopotamia happend at the will of the Persians. The army of king Cyrus overtook the Babylonian city and the rest of the empire along with it. However, despite the Babylonian empire's destruction, it's culture still remained. Eventually, the Persians were destroyed and the Greeks would take their place.

The Middle Kingdom starts when the 11th Dynasty king Mentuhotep II over took the Heracleopolitan kings. Beyond that, Mentuhotep and his future generations build mighty mounuments all over Egypt. However, the vizior of Mentuhotep IV, Amenemhat, most likley became king of the 12th Dynasty.

    Akkadia is the first empire in Mesopotamia. Sargon I developed ruled over this empire. Akkadiad got its name from the Akkadian language, being referred to as akkadû. The Akkadians and the Sumerians appeared to have lived peacfully together for sometime, wthout any stereotypes.

    The Old Kingdom was very different than the first three Dynastys. The Old Kingdom began to turn from the "Step," pyramid to the "Real," shaped pyramids that are more well known ones. This also changes the Religion

Tradition also states that Menes was the cause of upper and lower Egypt uniting. However, there is no evidence proving this.

It is enabling us to have a small, yet notable, peek into the Indus valley civilizations. For example, we now know that the mature Harappan period started around 2600 B.C.

    In this era, Indus Valley civilizations turned from farming communities into urban ones. It marked the beginning of draining systems and multiple level houses. This was probably only possible by the uniformity in the measurement system. This also leads to the fact that the Indus Civilization could have been a single city state.
  • Start of the Indus Valley Civilizations: I

    The beginnings of Indus Valley civilization lie with the early Harappan/Ravi Phase. This phase was named after the nearby Ravi river. It's believed to have lasted from 3300 to 2800 B.C. The Ravi Phase is also thought to be related to the Hakra and Kot Diji Phases, as well as the Ghaggar-Hakra River valley.

    The beginnings of this civilization are the fist ones to be in Mesopotamia. The Sumerians could control the Tigris and Euphrates rivers by creating canals and other waterways to survive. Each city of Sumer had a temple in the center. Preists houses and government building wraped around the temple, and Middle and Lower class structures surrounded that.
  • The Neolithic Era of Indus Valley: I

    The culture in this era was Mehrgarh, now found in Baluchistan, Pakistan. They were very pastoral, occupied houses of mud, and wove baskets. They also tended to goats as well as farms, and even pottery became popular in the culture. However, in 2000 B.C, this way of life was all but abandoned.

    China started out as a farming millet around 7000 B.C. However, they had a very complicated language. It had 8,453 charaters of symbols for deities, space, and hunting. China is also linked to a Bronze age civilization, because of a Brone knife that was found there.
