14000 BCE - 12000 BCE. The ice sheets that covered Europe, Asia and North America are dissapearing. The climate is getting warmer and there are more plants to be used as food sources.

2.5 million BCE - 10 000 BCE. Also known as the Old Stone Age. Used stone tools and lived as hunterers/gatherers.

3500 BCE - 1900 BCE. This is the first known form of writing used in the first cities.

1792 BCE. Hammurabi creates the first known Law system; an eye for an eye. This means if you kill my son I can kill you, if you cut off my hand I cut off yours etc.

334 BCE. He began a series of campaigns that lasted ten years. The most notable battles while taking over Persia were Issus and Gaugamela.

3000 BCE. This was the form of writing all throughtout the time of Ancient Egypt. They wrote these symbols on papyrus paper and in the tombs.

2560 BCE. Located on the west bank of the Nile River in Northern Egypt. Inside there is a chamber for the Queen, King and a Grand Gallery. They were made of casing stones and white limestone.

1336 B.C. to 1327 B.C. He obtained the throne around the ages of 9 and 10 and died when he was only 18. He ruled for 9 years.

1194-1184 BCE. The Achaens (Greeks) fought against the Trojans in this war.

753 BC. Rome is built by two brothers named Romulus and Remus. They were raised by a female wolf. They got into a fight and Romulus killed Remus. Rome is named after Romulus.

He lived from 100 BC to 44 BC. He was in office as Rome's leader from 49 BC - 44 BC. He had a critical role in the rise of the Roman Empire

70 AD. It was made of concrete and stone. It was used for gladiatorial contests and public shows. It could hold between 50,000 and 80,000 people.

1144 CE. The Abbey Church of St. Denis, a burial shrine for French Kings and Queens is torn down and replaced by Gothic architecture.
