This began the return of the Democrats as FDR served 3 terms and died shortly after being elected to a fourth. -

Bush is Elected
In 200, Bush was elected without winning the popular vote. Florida was forced to do numerous recounts and the supreme court finally stepped in giving Bush the presidency. -
The Twin Towers are Attacked along with the Pentagon
Four plane crashes happened that day. Two crashed into the Twin Towers in NY and one into the Pentagon in D.C. Another plane crashed in PA due to the courageous passengers. -
Barack Obama is Elected
President Obama is the first African-American president.
