    Emotion Processing Units (EMU's)
The company known as Emoshape created EMU's which are chips placed into devices, to give people a sense that devices feel emotions. Here's a link that shows how this works: https://youtu.be/GZyBGRtLP3E Makes me wonder: will this lead to having robots within our society one day?

  • Siri

    Siri
A virtual assistant that was originally an app, but now comes with Apple products such as the iPhone, iPad, iPod, & more.
Siri is comprised of three components - a conversational interface (how siri understands you), personal context awareness (how siri gathers & acts upon info) & service delegation (connection to apps on device) (O'Boyle, 2021). Siri (Continued)

Siri has come a long way since it was released. There have been many updates & improvements in the 12 years since its release. Today, it understands much more of what you are needing along with creating proactive suggestions for its user.

  • Personal Robot Assitant

    Personal Robot Assitant
I predict that by 2030, we'll have personal robot assistants within the homes of most of America. I predict that it will be more than a device such as Siri or Alexa, rather it be a physical robot that helps us with whatever we need.
  • Home Assitants

    Home Assitants
I predict that in 100 years, the robotic assistants that we have will now come installed in houses, cars, and phones before we receive them, such as the JARVIS assistant seen in the movie Iron Man. The assistant will be available to everyone within seconds, no matter where you are to be able to best assist you with what you need.
