Industrial Revolution Begins
The revolution began in Britain when farmers dramatically improved farming methods. They used crop rotation for more nutrients in the soil. Rich Landowners made the small farmers move to the city because they bought out everyones land. -
New technology revoutionized the industry
New inventions started to come alot. There were better weavers, they used that machine with their hands. but then in 1769 there was a machine that used water to drive the spinning wheels. they combined inventions and then came the factories. we started getting things like railroads, better water transportation and such. -

The old regime was a system of feudalism left over from the middle ages.. This is why France was still in 3 large social classes. The classes were called Bourgeoisie, Clergy and noble class -
Changes in France
The people started to question long standing notions about the structure of society. France's once prosperous economy failed, plus there was very bad weather wich caused widespread crop failures. Louis XVI was indecisive and allowed governing matters drift. -
Revolution Dawns
The third estate's views had been shaped by the enlightenment. the 3rd estate eventually became the National Assembly. they ended absolute anarchy and started the representive government. -
Great Fear
Rebellion spread from paris into the countryside. Wild rumors saying the nobles were hiring outlaws to terrorize the peasants. The peasants ended up becoming bandits theirselves, breaking into noble classmen houses. -

This is the day napoleon was put in charge of the french military. Napoleon seen a chance for him to be first council he got a seizure of power also known as coup d'etat. -

Easier Lives
By the 1800's life became easier, people had heated homes and urbanization began. Living condions, working conditions all improved. Alot of people had jobs now because of all the factories to work in. -

Napoleon was very power hungry but that caused him to make 3 big mistakes. He signed a decree for a blockade, he started the peninsular war, and he invaded Russia. -
