  • I was born.

    I was born Allison Kate Van Lannen on September 13, 1998.

  • My brother was born.

    My brother Dustin was born on March 6, 2001.
  • I made Fisrt Communion.

    I made Fisrt Communion.

    I made my First Communion on April 27, 2008. I made it at the Assumption BVM church. Since I was only in third grade, I was very nervous. Once I got up to the altar and tasted the bread and wine, I realized that the wine tasted like cough syrup. In the end, I had no reason to be nervous because it all went smoothly.
  • We went to the Milwuakee Zoo.

    We went to the Milwuakee Zoo.

    In July of 2008, my brother, my mom, my mom’s friend, and I went to the Milwaukee Zoo. My favorite part of the zoo was seeing the elephants. The zoo had just opened their giraffe exhibit and we were the first ones to see it. My brother was afraid of the lions, but I loved them. I had to beg my mom to take me on the air tram, where this picture was taken. Even though it was along drive to Milwaukee, the day at the zoo was worth it.

  • I got my dog.

    My family got our dog on November 23 2008. We named him Chopper.

  • I was a junior bridesmaid at my cousin's wedding.

    I was a junior bridesmaid at my cousin Eirc's wedding. It rained and ended up being a very wet wedding.

  • I graduated from 5th grade.

    On June 4, 2010, I graduated from fifth grade at Assumption BVM. There was a HUGE awards ceremony in church, which took a long time and was pretty boring. Afterwards, there was a gathering in the cafeteria with cake and punch. Then we all went to a giant party to celebrate. I was sad to leave ABVM, but I was excited to start fresh at PCMS.
  • I went to Orlando, Florida.

    I went to Orlando, Florida.

    My family and I went to Orlando, Florida in the summer of 2010. One day we rented a car and drove to Coco Beach where we walked on the beach and swam in the ocean. We also went to all four parks in Disney World. My family and I visited my aunt and uncle. This picture was taken outside their house. Florida’s cool, but it was WAY too hot to live there, so I was glad when we finally made it home.
  • I had my first basketball gam.

    I had my first basketball gam.

    I played my first game of basketball on October 22, 2008. Even though we’d all practiced very hard, the entire team was extremely nervous. The many practices seemed to be working tough. We ran many successful plays and scored many points. We were winning! In the end, we won the game, and had a great time.

  • I broke my finger.

    I was decorating church for Christmas, when I broke my pinkie finger.
