    By this time the Internet was at 15 nodes.
    The first email program was written at this time as well

  • Internet was still Via- Comand-line Interface Software

    Users had to remember-
    specific commands
    pictures downloaded to your own computer and veiwed using different software

  • First Graphical Browser

    Between 1994 and 1995 the first graphical brwoser was created.
    Text could be displayed along with graphics. You could move from page to page or other pages within the internet.

  • WWW

    This was the begining of the World Wide Web (WWW)

  • Today

    There are 40million users of the internet
