    The war starring the coolest US President Theodore Roosevelt, the Spanish-American War only lasted about 4 months and the Spanish got completely squashed and had to give up all of their island colonies, some to the US, and some were given independence.

    A really really racist movie that white people really liked. It did some really neat stuff with film techniques but still insanely backwards that it was looking back at the Medieval Ages.

    Originally issued to workers so they could have a bank to save part of their wages, now nearly everyone in the US today has a social security number, and is now required to do many things, such as getting a job.

    The League of Nations was made to prevent wars and other conflicts through collective security and disarmament, acting as a platform to negotiate conflicts, and dealing with other things like labor, drugs, health etc. It dissolved after WW2 due to becoming unstable and was replaced with the United Nations of today.
