How does God continue to advance his mission to reflect His glory in this story?
After this story, God continues to show that He provides. This story reminds us that if we have faith in God, God will provide for us the same way God provided a lamb in place of Isaac being the offering. Through this, we can see his the greatness and glory of his power.

Genesis 12:1-3 is God's covenant to Abraham. One of the things God promised was to make Abraham's name great. And in modern times, we can see that Abraham's name is great. Many religions stem back to Abraham, the main ones being Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. These religions make up more than half of the religions followed by people today.
