  • Assassination of the President Mckinely

    The President of the United States, William Mckinely, was shot and fatally wounded on September 6, 1901, inside the Temple of music on the grounds of the pan American Exposition In Buffalo , New York. After his death, Vice-President Theodoe Roosevelt becomes the 26th President of the United States.
  • The first flight happened

    Wilbur and Orville after observing birds in flight, they noticed how the birds glide through the air.They believed they could use the technique worping and changing the wings to substain flight. On December 17th Wilbur and Orville succesfully flew a glider , later leading to the invention of the modern day airplane.
  • Roosevelts panic

    NYC stock exchange droped 50% , thus made many USA banks go bankrupt. Caused nation to Panic even more, during already having economic troubles.Caused by market liquidy and the loss in confidence in depositors. The Knickerbocker trust collapsed and the word spread causing people to pull money out of the banks.
  • Sinking of the Titanic

    Four days into the voyage unable to stear away from a iceberg quick enough thr Titanic took a blow to the storboard. The titanic was suppose to be able to stay afloat with 4 flooded compartments tops, also the boat didnt carry half as many life boats needed, pore capacity and evacuation. Over 3,000 people died as the Titanic sunk. when the public got wind of the titanic it caused public outrage.
  • Sinking of the Lusitania

    One day on there voyage captain William Thomas Turner slowed the Lusitania because of fog. Earlier warned to look about for U-boats, unfortunetly it was to late U-20 locked on to the Lusitania and launched a torpedo at 1:40 p.m. hitting the starboard directly. Also igniting another explosin sinking the ship in a whopping 18 minutes killing 1,198 out of the 1,959 who boarded, when it hit the public it shocked the hole world.
  • WW1 America enters the war

    USA joined Allies Britain, France, and Russia to fight in WW1. Under John J Pershing 2,000,000 fought on the battle fields of France Over the assassination of Franz Ferdinand Archduke of Austria. Many Americans opposed the war they would rather choose to be neutral.
  • Treaty of Versailles

    World conflict claimed 9-13 million lives and caused unprecedented conflict. Germany finally surendered on November 18,1918 all nations called peace for negotiating. later after some negotiating Germany & Allied Nations signed a Treaty of Versailles, ending the war.
  • 19th Amendment

    Promoting equal voting rights to women, no state shall not denie right to vote on account of sex. The amendment was introduce inv1887, it only took 40 years in which womens rights became militant. Conducting campaigns & Congressional passage, reinforced by women in Industry in WW1 resulted in the adoption of the 19th Amendment.
