Ages 1 to 3 years of age.

    The child begins to turn several pages of a book at a time they also may walk alone or while holding a cargivers hand, Picks up small objects with thumb and forefinger, sits down without help,moves object from hand to hand, slides down stairs backward one step at a time.

    Play alone but often near others, Dislikes sharing toys, desires approval, fears some strangers.

    Begins to put two words together, Names common objects & people, Understands "no" but ignores, Finds hidden objects.

    Can stack 6 blocks & walks with more coordination & confidence,turns one page of a book at a time, picks up objects from the floor without losing balance, jumps off bottom step, pushes self on wheeled toys.

    Engages in parallel play, plays simple games with others, bosses other children, says "please" if prompted.

    Uses two-to-three word sentences, knows about 500 words, Follows simple directions, identifies colors.

    Stacks nine to 10 blocks, cuts with scissors, draws reconizable pictures, jumps up and down in place with both feet, Catches a ball with arms straight, Rides a tricycle.

    Uses longer sentences, knows about 900 words, Follows two-part directions, Sorts by color and shape

    They know how to use a fork and spoon, They have a full set or primary teeth & Should be able to chew all food.

    Begin cooperative play, play in small groups, Do things another persons way just to please them, They still care for their cargivers but no longer in their social life.
