Years throughout high school

  • First day of high school

    First day of high school
It was my first day of high school and I really didn't knnow what was expected since alot of people I talk to said that high school is a whole another level. I was anixious to meet my new peers from different places around cherokee county, and also the scheduling difference. At the end of the day, I reallyed enjoyed the start of my high school career.
  • First Homecoming

    First Homecoming
This day was very special for my brother and I. This was our first annual dance that we attended. He attended the et booth dance while I attended the homecoming for the freshman class. I had alot of fun and also met some new people while I was at the dance.
  • Freshman Squad

    Freshman Squad
This was a great feeling! This was the first time ever that I was able to an official basketball team. I was very excited and was ready for the first game of the season.
  • Slam Dunk!

    Slam Dunk!
I've always wanted to learn how to dunk once I had the height to touch rim. I was able to grab the rim with both hands when I was 15, but it took some time for me to actually dunk a basketball. The process for it seem simple but it was difficult. I started out slamming with a tennis ball and as I gain more comfort with my jumping abilities, I was soon able to get my first dunk at a park,
  • Party

    Party
This was the first time ever that I was able to host an african party. The party had alot of music and good food for the people to eat and take home. The party was from 11am to 8pm at St. Thomas. It was a great experience for me and the people that attended the fest.
  • I'm from poem

I’m from a very a unique continent Africa,
With the weather blazing hot every moment of the day,
Having pride to wear my African clothes anywhere I go,
Carrying vases on top of my head filled with water to drink,
Living my life to the fullest.
I’m from beating up kids and choking teachers at school,
Getting sent to the principals office 24/7,
Having buff guys restrain me from others,
    Constantly getting ISS and OSS,
To getting transfer from school to school within 5 years.
  • Dodgeball

    Dodgeball
The dodgeball tournament was held at Etowah high school in the new gym. The torunament was held for charity and also a strong support for cancer. This means alot to me since my grandmama passed away from breast cancer two years ago. There was a total of 10 teams and our team ended up in second place. I appreciate the support from my teammates and the facility.
  • Meeting my facilitator

    Meeting my facilitator
Mr. Ottis was my facilitator for my senior project. Without him I wouldn't be able to complete my senior prodcut because not only was he my facilitator, but also he was a mentor in other parts of my life. He made sure that I always had my head up and never put myself down on anything. Because of him, not only did I learn alot about training dogs, but also the aspect of respecting your life.
  • Where I'm Going

I’m going to a place where the future holds great for me,
Meeting new people as I get ready to hit the next big step in my life,
Making sure that I succeed in everything I do with hard work and full dedication,
Studying my books instead of going to parties and getting into trouble,
Getting a job that’ll support me and my family.
I’m going to places I like to enjoy myself,
Spending time training hard for basketball and football,
To where all my hard work pays off,
