    This organization was made after the Paris Peace Conference took place after World War 1 to maintain world peace. Six days after the Versailles Treaty was put into action, the League of Nations had its first council meeting in Geneva. During this time, the League of Nations successfully moderated international controversy. The League of Nations was important to history because it ensured war never broke out again. It set the base for furthers acts of justice.

    Hitler became very effective when speaking in front of a vast majority of crowds. While he was in Berlin visiting nationalist groups, he experienced an unexpected revolt against the Nazis and had to rush back to Munich. He announced his resignation and people realized the loss of Hitler. At the next gather he was announced Führer of the Nazi Party. He divided Germany and made it a major battlefield. Hitler's speeches were significant due to their empowering words and seeing what he encouraged.

    Germans elect Nazis 2nd largest political party in Germany
    The German federal election had the Nazis coming in second place for the largest party in Reichstag. Before rising to this place in the election, Hitler tried to empower the people with famous speeches, parades and posters. Hitler offered the Germans what they needed most during the Great Depressions allowing them to be willing to listen. Later on in history the Nazis play a very empowering roll in many lives, and electing them gives them confidence in taking over the country.

    Franklin Roosevelt helped Americans regain their faith during the Great Depression. He wanted to encourage change; he stated in his Inaugural Address, "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself." He entered as a Democrat. Through his Presidency, he proposed the sweeping program for agriculture and business. He also encouraged international difficulties to be settled. Roosevelt was important due to his ability to revive American faith when it had been brought down due to many effects.

    “Night of the Long Knives”
    Hitler believed some of the Nazis may have potential to be a threat in the future. He ordered a purge among the Nazis, his own political party, assassinating hundreds of Nazis. Hitler thought some of the Nazis had taken his early "National Socialism" propaganda way too seriously. The phrase "Night of the Long Knives" came from a well-known Nazi song." This act led people to believe the strength of Hitler, and how powerful and violent he can be, even in the beginning of him being elected.

    These were Anti-Jewish Laws that excluded German Jews from having Reich citizenship and also did not allow them to marry or have any sexual relationship with someone of German descent. These laws define a "Jew" as someone with three or four Jewish grandparents, regardless if the person defines themself as a Jew or not. This act provided clear evidence of rascism, and depriving Jews of political rights encouraged further rascist behavior.
