    A Renaissance cultural movement which revived interest in ancient Greek and Roman after turning away from Medieval scholasticism.Its causes were many, all deeply interconnected and now historians debate the relative importance of each, as well as when the Renaissance actually began. Humanism affected social life of those in that period : it made them more humane and consitterd to eachother.

    First Fleet Arrives At Batony Bay
    The First Fleet of 11 ships, left Portsmouth in 1787 with more than 1480 men, women and children onboard. Although most were British, there were also African, American and French convicts. After a voyage of three months the First Fleet arrived at Botany Bay on 24 January 1788.

    The Indian Rebellion of 1857 began as a mutiny of sepoys of the East India Company's army on 10 May 1857, in the cantonment of the town of Meerut. The Indian Rebellion was mainly caused by the ethnic gulf between the British officers and their Indian troops. The British had issued new gunpowder cartridges that were widely believed to be greased with cow or pig fat, which insulted both Hindus and Muslims.

    On the 27 June 1911, the Governor-General, Lord Dudley, opened the college and announced that it would be called the Royal Military College of Australia. The effect it had on the Duntroon Military College was that it educated thousands of people during the 100 years after it was built. The cause is to educate the military people.

However a number of factors contributed to the rivaly between the great powers that aloud war on such a wild-scale to brake out. The impact of the war continues to be felt to this day as it resulted in the death of Empirese and the birth of nations.
