I chose this piece of art because I wanted to focus on the art. The art was wall art, stain glass, and mosaics. In the Medieval times their art seemed more of lighter colors and darker colors for the main characters. -
In this timespan I'd like to focus on the literature. During this time famous writers like Shake Spear, Niccolò Machiavelli, and Edmund Spenser wrote in this times period. Poetry in Renaissance became one of the most valued literature and was often partnered with music. In this time they showed tragedy, elegy, or pastoral.
-
This period was famous for its philosophers including John Locke, Thomas Hobbes, and Mary Wollstonecraft. They all had completely different ideas of the world, natural man, good and evil, etc.
-
Music was really valued in the Romantic period. Some of the composers were Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert, etc. They say music as a means of individual and emotional expression.
-
I chose to talk about literature. Some of the famous authors were Charles Dickens, George Eliot, Charlotte Brontë, and Anthony Trollope. Victorian literature was mainly based off of science, morality, and society.
-
I'm going to focus on art. Some famous artist were Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, and Paul Cézanne. Modern era art was a response to the change, so it showed creativity.
-
I chose to talk about music. Music we have today is Jazz, Hip-Hop, Rap, etc. Some of this music could be inspired by older world views or even from it. Like Clair De Lune.
