    This is roughly the time when the Mayan empire went into remission. The reasons behind this are disputted, and are not known for sure. The remaining parts of the emipre survive until 1551 when the Spanish conquerers invade.

    Feudalism breaks out across Japan, with the country split into many areas, each of which is run by a Daimyo. Daimyo had their own kind of special warrior called the Samurai. In order to keep balance in their lives, Samurai practiced arts such as meditation and poetry.

    This is roughly the year in which the slavery of Africans begin. A total of 10 million are enslaved throughout the hundreds of years people are taken. Some are not only taken by the Europeans, but by other Africans and sold.

    Diaz visits Tenochtitlan (Mexico City) for the first time. He is very impressed by how importent women are in the civilization. Seeing so much in one place is what originates the American gold rush.

    Britian passes many Hydrarchy based laws, including punishing the refusal to join the Navy with the death penality, and only allowing British ships to trade with British ports.

    Creation of Soba Noodles
    Around this time in Japan soba noodle are first cooked. They were originally food eaten by the middle class, but as time went on the higher class started eating this food.
  • East India Company takes India

    Britian give the East India Company permission to claim India as their own and act as a military force. This was all in attempt to monopolize trade with India, which is and eventual success.
  • First contact on Easter Island

    Dutch sailors first arrive at Easter Island. The see a thriving civilization with many unusual stone figures. They are mostly farming based and had no idea of the outside worlds existance.
  • Pompeii rediscovered

    Pompeii is found under old lava. It reveils many secrects of the ancient world, as it is fairly well perserved. Pompeii was discovered to have been the red light district of the ancient world.
  • Spanish return to Easter Island

    British Captain James Cook return to the island and sees several of the statues knocked over. Without stopping at the island, they have no idea why.
  • Zong takes it's Historical Trip

    Zong takes it's Historical Trip
    The Zong leaves Liverpool for America with a cargo of 182 slaves. After the death of several drew members, the captain tosses all slaves over board in order to have enough food for the trip back. When he returns the captin attempts to get the insurance money on the lost cargo but is denied, No criminal charges are filed

    This time is roughly when sushi is first made in Japan. It is a combination of rice and fish. It is common and still eaten today.

    Many stories of sexuality and love are released in Japan. These stories were mostly written by women, because the men of the time had "better things" to write about.

    Following the fall of Rome, King Charlemagne takes the throne in France. A devoted Christian, he creates an empire that reached all the way to Bahgdad. His armies were small compaired to the huge armies with only having about 5,000 per force.

    This is considered to be the begining of the Viking Empire. The Vikings conqured many lands including much of Britian, and land from Russia to Baghdad. It is also during this age when North America was originally found, specifically Newfoundland.

    This is approximatly the time when Feudalism throughout Europe begins. This leads to the exploitation of the peasants by the lords of their land. This also causes a lack of centralized power on the continent. This is partially solved by the Pope uniting the people through the Crusades.
