In the first wood shop classes, we have been learning about different types of cuts. We used Cross and Rip Cuts to cut the wood. We also learned 2 cuts to cut out puzzle pieces. They are called a J and S. I have cut 4 puzzles. Are wood comes from a tree farm in Georgia where millions of trees are grown and cut down every day. A few Tid-Bits we learned are hack saw, tri-square, key hole saw, rubber headed mallet, coping saw, universal mallet, analog outside dimension caliper, miter saw/miter box,

On our first day of The Animal Napkin Holders project we learned how to do relief cuts which were VERY helpful in our project. Over the next two days I was cutting my wood to put my animal cut-outs on. On the 29th I started and finished my duck. It looked better than I thought it was going to turn out. On the 30th I got halfway through my bunny. On the 1st I finished my bunny and got halfway through my baby duckling. On the 2nd I finished my baby duckling and started the relief cuts on my turtle
