    As Stephen F Austin was returning from Mexico Santa Anna overturned the 1824 Mexican constitution and jailed Stephen F Austin which lead to angering many people and lead to a rebllion.

    Mexico gets pushed back all the way to the Alamo.

    In 1847 the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was signed which gave the US control of Texas, California, New Mexico and much more, and Mexico recieved 15 million dollars.
