The First fleet of 11 ships with 1350 Britain people, including convicts arrived at Sydney cove. The came to Australia to search for other land and to isolate criminals in a place of no exit or escape.

Outcomes: After the goldrush, Alot of Chinese people have moved to Australia, not to mention more Europeans. -

It started just after world war 2 and ended in 1973. Why it started: They wanted other people from other countries to stop coming to Australia die to the heap of Chinese people that came after the gold rush. Why it ended: because everyone wanted multiculturalism and they wanted to increase Australia's population.

Why did they migrate: They wanted to rebuild their lives and start new after they had been between a war.
Who: Europeans. -
During the 1970's and abit of the 1980's Australia has had a lot more asian heritage come by.
When: 1976- 1979
Why: To be safe from pol pot and because of the fall out of their country and to hide from further war. They also wanted a freedom of speech.
How: They fled to thailand where they waited in refugee camp for resettlement.
Who: the vietnamese and Cambodians. -

Everyone has personal reasons of why they chose to drop everything and leave, such as war, poverty, government etc.
