    The First Fleet
    They sailed from Great Britain and the migraters were 10 civil officers, 212 marines, 28 wives and 17 children of the marines, 81 free persons, 504 male convicts and 192 female convicts. They came to Australia through Ships, total of 11 ships. They migrated on the 13th of May, 1787. They migrated, mianly to get rid of the convicts due to the over population of convicts in Great Britain and that time.

    The Chinese and Europeans from China and Europe were migrating to Australia in 1851 by boats. They migrated to Australia because Australia had lots of Gold. This changed the Australian culture because the Chinese bought along their chinese food which impacted the Australian culture heavily.

    Germany declared war on France and Russia and invaded Belgium. Germany had to apply their Schlieffen Plan. Many people migrated to Australia in World War 1 due to the bombing blitz from Germany. Many people from Europe migrated to Australia, because of the War with the many nations in 1914, 28th of july. They travled to Australia by boats. This wave of migration changed the Australia culture by having the European culture intervend with the Australia Culture. This included food and religion.

    After WWII, people all across Europe travelled to Australia. Judging by the displaced Europeans travelling to Australia, Australia launched a massive immigration programme. Over one million British citizens migrated to Australia under the Assisted Migration Scheme, also known as 'Ten Pound Poms.' People from all over Europe travelled to Australia by boat for the cost of ten pounds. This changed the Australian culture by having it more influenced in the European culture.

    The Vietnamese and Cambodians were migrating to Australia in 1975. They got to Australia by boats. They were migrating, mainly to have a better life by running away from the war. This wave of migration changed the Australia culture by having a mix between their cambodian and vietnamese culture. The mix includes religion, food and clothing.

This wave of migration has changed the population of Australia dramatically. As now there are lots of multicultural societies around Australia.
