They caused numerous battles in America, tried to invade Canada, and even tried burning down Washington D.C.

    This was a peace treaty on December 24, 1814 in Ghent, Belgium, allowing the war of 1812 to officially be over.

Since they were all dissatisfied with the economic impact and the federal governments over reach, they tried to make their own constitutional amendments to curb the power of the Federalists and protect states right, their idea ultimately failed though.

    During 1815 this battle was one of the most important, where an American army was led by Andrew Jackson, ultimately defeating a better-trained and larger British Army from invading and taking the Mississippi river and New Orleans.
