    British captains took over 10,000 American citizens to man ships.

    Kentucky troops repelled by British and Indians in fighting. American survivors killed in Raisin River Massacre

  • Battle of Toronto

    US troops took control of the Great Lakes. This later returned by British burning of Washington DC.

  • Battle of New Orleans

    Jackson’s forces defeated the British. 700 British killed and 1400 wounded.
