    The Declaration of Independence was formally declared two days before, on July 2nd of 1776, but it wasn't until the fourth that congress approved it, and it wasn't until August 2nd of that year that it was sighed.
  • The Battle of York Town

    The battle lasted through the 19th of October, 1781.
  • The Constitutional Convention

    The Convention ended in September 17th, 1787.
  • The Invention of the Cotton Gin

    The cotton gin cleaned the cotton quickly and efficiently. Before it was invented a slave could only clean about one pound of cotton my hand in an entire day.
  • The Alien and Sedition Acts

    This act made all persons who were not born in America have to apply for USA citizenship.

    Basically France lived in the Louisiana area, and sold it off to Spain, and they gave it back to France. After negotiations and such America bought Louisiana back for an insanely large amount of money.
