    An Italian explorer sailing for Spain who believed that Asia (India) could be reached by sailing west from Europe. His first voyage was in 1492, wherein he discovered North America (Caribbean islands) and named it the West Indies. He will make four voyages to the new world without fully realizing what he had discovered.

    Is when a forced voyage of enslaved Africans traveled across the Atlantic Ocean to the new world.It was a one leg triangular trade route that went from Europe to Africa.In 1518 many African people made a 21 to 90 day overcrowded voyage trips that were manned by Great Britain,Netherlands,Portugal,and France.

    Was the first settlement to be established on May 14, 1607. It is located near the present day of Williamsburg. The town gave England its first stronghold in the new world.

    In 1765 Britain tried to raise the taxation to all the colonies which they were taxed with using commercial and legal paper, newspaper, pamphlets, cards, and dice. In the summer in 1765 the Sons of liberty was formed which later opposed and destroyed the stamp act.
