    The Boston Massacre was consisted of the British soldiers open firing on the colonists and killed five people. However, they were both harassing eachother. The event was then used to fuel anti British feelings in the colony.

    The Louisiana Purchase was a purchase of land made by Thomas Jefferson. This purchase would forever change America. The Louisiana Territory nearly doubled the size of the US. France offered the land at 15 million and Jefferson bought it without hesitation. There was much conflict about the land even though it gave the US full access to the Mississippi river.

    The Lewis and Clark Journey West
    President Thomas Jefferson hired explorers Merriweather Lewis and William Clark and set them out on an expedition to explore the Louisiana Territory. They documented their new findings. The maps Clark made helped later Americans navigate around the new land. The unknown animals and plants Lewis documented also helped later Americans.

Linda Brown (an African American girl) her father, and the NAACP all sued to allow Linda to go to the school some where closer to her house. The Supreme Courts new ruling was segragation in schools and other public facilities was illegal.
