One of his most popular accomplishments is his victories in the French&Indian War. He is responsible for America's setup as we know it.     After a three month discussion of peace, the opposing countries finally signed the Treaty of Ghent at Ghent, Belgium.Negotiating was non-stop. However, America was finally pleased when the treaty unveiled an independent honour for the country, an end to impressments, blockades, and ship seizure, and a resolution towards the Indians east of the Mississippi. This marked the beginning of a national pride era and partisan agrrement.

    A common man from Waxhaws, Andrew Jackson becomes America's seventh President along with his Vice-President, John C. Calhoun. Popular for his common background and his postponement of the Civil War, Jackson was a man of the people.

    A slave from Southhampton County, Virginia, Nat and other rebellious slaves led an uproar against the whites. The highest number of fatalities in this category, 55-65 White poeple were murdered. Although the rebellion simmered down in the coming days, Turner survived for 2 months.

    This event occurred as a result of South Carolina's disagreement with the legality of the federal tariffs of 1828 and 1832. South Carolina ruled the Tariffs of Abomination unconstitutional and therfore made the laws irrelevant inside the state.

    Trail Of Tears
    As a result to the Indian Removal Act of 1830, thousands of Cherokee Indians (one of the largest at the time) were forced out of their land and into reservations in current day Oklahoma. On this 2,000 mile journey across America 60,000 of the original 130,000 died. This action was caused by Jackson who's post office laws led the Indians to reservations.
