    The United States was founded on the fourth of July in 1776. Writings such as the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights are all documents that shape the U.S. The most important is the Declaration of Independence which is the document that founded America because it separated the colonies from England.

    The Louisiana Purchase of 1803 was a deal between the United States and France. Through this agreement, France agreed to sell a large amount of land, called the Louisiana Territory, to the United States. It’s important because it expanded the United States . The land is now know as from the Mississippi River to the Rocky Mountains and back then it had doubled the size of the nation.

The confederates surrendered and it was important in history because it was a war in the states and it was when slavery was significant in the states.

It was important because the world powers were involved including the United States.

The attack led to the United States' formal entry into World War II the next day.

    Martin Luther King was an important civil rights activist. Its important because he was a leader in the movement to end racial segregation in the United States. His most famous address was the "I Have A Dream" speech. He was an advocate of non-violent protest and became the youngest man to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

    John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, is assassinated while traveling in a open-top convertible. The trip was to bring together a feuding Democratic Party in a state that was vital to Kennedy’s chances for reelection in 1964. His wife was riding in the car with him which she typically hardly did and also the presidents also hardly road with an open top. Its important because assassinations hardly happened and it really hit the US hard.

    The terrorist group," al-Queda" attacked the US four times in one day which killed 3,000 citizens of the US. The attack consisted of plane attacks, one crashed into the Pentagon, the other in a field, and two others hit the twin towers of the World Trade Center. This event was the first time the United States experienced terrorism in a while thats why its important.

Paddock, a 64-year-old man from Mesquite, Nevada, fired more than 1,100 rounds of ammunition from his suite on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
