    The Boston Tea party was a "protest" on British tea tax. This riot was lead by the "Sons of Liberty". They boarded 3 ships and threw the tea inot the Ocean. This event closed the harbour and helped the colonists know we need to stand up. This event had harsh consequences from the Britsh. Like the closing of the dock and others. Without the punishment of this, the rebellion would'of came later.

    The 1st Continental Congress , was a meeting with all the representatives, from the colonies. This was the first time they met as a whole. They still were loyal to the king, but condemned the coercive acts. This was important because, this was the first congress, this kinda laid out how an issue, that involves all the colonies, can be worked out.
