    "The Bayeux Tapestry" by alipaiman
this picture supports its style because it shows the norman invasion of england in 1066. the drawing clearly shows that its an army on horses going to war.
what made me choose this picture was the writings on it, although i dont know whats written but the letters are in english so they must have been studied.

"the last supper" by Leonardo Da Vinci

"the last supper" by Leonardo Da Vinci
This painting is a good example of religious art because it shows the the last supper of jesus as mentioned in the bible. the colors of the painting also are a little dull showing the mood of the picture and that its not that happy.
What attracted me was that its showing how the artist feels what the bible is saying, like expressing his feelings towards the bible by painting it. what also attracted me was that it shows how the artists stuck to their religion and had a clear point to show people.
  • "Bouquet" by Jan Brueghel the Elder

"Bouquet" by Jan Brueghel the Elder
the painting is a good pivture for the style because it shows the life in the oicture through the colors and its something thathas no actions. the colors and the mood explain alot.
the picture got my attention because the picture is happy and sad at the same time. the colors are happy colors, but the fact that the flower is dead makes it sad and gloomy.
  • "Aristotle Contemplating a Bust of Homer" by Rembrandt van Rijn

"Aristotle Contemplating a Bust of Homer" by Rembrandt van Rijn
this picture is good for its theme because it shows the moment aristotle put his hand on homer's head. as people say, he put his right hand because its his favored hand to show that hes higher than homer.
this picture attracted me because the dark and gloomy colors seem to mean something to the artist. also that i saw many deatils in the painting but its unfortunate that it has a low resolution.
  • "the milkmaid" by Johannes Vermeer

    "the milkmaid" by Johannes Vermeer
this shows us what the maid does for a living and to get money. this supports the genre because its what shoe does almost everyday and it is while she is working so she doesnt know whats going on.
this painting caught my attention because it shows that the maid is working hard so dhe could live by her salary. also that it made me think that hard work pays off and it feels good to earn things.
  • "girl with the pearl earring" by Johannes Vermeer

"girl with the pearl earring" by Johannes Vermeer
This painting ia a good example of portrait art because of the proper usage of colors in the right volumes of color. using il colors made the painting look better because of the usage of different shades of one color on the face of the person being drawn.
also, what made me choose this painting to represent portraits was knowing the story behind it. u personally like the movie of the portrait and also the look of the girl is like a mystery for the people that dont know, itll make them wonder.
  • "Norsk bokmål" by Themistokles von Eckenbrecher

"Norsk bokmål" by Themistokles von Eckenbrecher
this picture supports its theme because it shows the details in the landscape by the colors. the shading of the colors make the details os specific to the point that the picture seems realistic.
my eyes got on how realistic the picture is. the way the artist blended the colors in the painting is unbelievable and my favorite part is the mountain on the left because of its details.
  • "hope II" by Gustav Klimt

    "hope II" by Gustav Klimt
for this picture as the painter says, it symbolizes hope. showing the women bowing down and still believing that what they want will happen.
i chose this picture because of the belief i see and because of all thos faces bowing down and keeping their thoughts high but their facial expression.
