    Prior attempts at abducting helen lead a promise to form between Menelaus and helen's father that he would come to his aid should helen ever be abducted. Agamemnon used this to get the Achaens to battle against troy.

    Due to his cursed lineage, the gods never showed the slightest favor towards his family. Artemis required the sacrifice of Agamemnon's daughter to recieve this favor so he could sail the sea to wage war against agamemnon.

    After Hector kills someone dear to Achilles, Achilles goes mad with rage and challenges him to one-on-one. The great Achilles obviouosly won the battle with ease, however he had taken to disgrace the body by dragging it around by attaching him with rope to his chariot.

    Achilles was dipped in the river of Styx in all but his heel, making him immortal but for that one point. Through divine help from Apollo, Paris was able to slay Achilles.

    Besides bedding Helena, Paris had been actively shooting achaens with arrows. Eventually he had to fight Menelaus and were it not for the assistace of Aphordite that let him escape, he would have been vanquashed.

    The Arrows of Hercules

    A prophecy was poken to the Achaens, they needed the bow and arrows of Hercules to achieve victory. They sent for the wounded Philoctetes who had said bow and arrows. Returning to the front lines he shot one of the poison tipped arrows, that although barely scratched Paris, was enough to kill him.

    The Trojan Horse

    The most infamous part of the story; Odysseus has the brilliant idea of making a huge wodden horse as a peace offering after 10 years of war with the Trojans. A camo for the hiding Achaens inside, they wait until the festivites of the Trojans "victory" to end to sneak out and slay everyone at the gate letting in the whole Achaen army thus ending the war.
