    The only god uninvited was Eris, the Goddess of Discord. She threw a golden apple into the wedding that said "For the Fairest." Many other Goddess wanted the apple but Zeus wouldn't choose between them.

    King Menelaus goes to Crete and while he is gone, Paris steals Helen and takes her back to Troy

    Menelaus calls for the Greek army to go to Troy and bring her back
