Then Eventually, Peleus becomes the king of Pithia. Eris, the Goddess of discord, was the only god uninvited. She threw a golden apple into the weddding that said "For the Fairest". Aphrodite, Athena, and Hera all wanted the apple, but Zeus would not chose between them.

But someone had to choose so they would not fight anymore. The Three Goddesses went over to Zeus and asked who was the Fairest but he did not want to reply so he sent them to Paris, When he tells them to undress so he could Judge eachone of them.
