Bachelor's Degree
Attended Adventist University to complete my Bachelor's in Radiology with a concentration in MRI. I finished my degree the summer of 2013. -
Master's Degree
I decided instead of substitute teaching nearly every day that I would go back to school and become a teacher. I completed my Master's degree with straight As in Science and English. This enabled me to have the job of my dreams! I currently teach 8th grade science. -
Dream Job
After completing my Master's degree I obained a job working for Huntington Middle School just south of Chillicothe. I believe that I am finally doing what God has called me to do. Teaching is my passion! -
RESA
Finished my RESA!! This class I am taking through SSU will finish my requirements by allowing me to have enough credits in phonics so I am able to obtain my long-term teaching license in Ohio. -
Completing the EDRE 2204
Last day of class! I hope to have learned how to teach reading better to my students. There are so many new words in Science and I want to help my students to gain a better understanding of what the terms mean and how to use them. I want to be able to teach science related phonics to those I teach to help them be stronger readers and communicators.
