    it was known that from 2006 that there was going to be furthur increases to the air passenger duty, this would then cause controvery to the industry, with them increasing air passenger duty this has caused many holiday prices to go up, for example in 1994 the highest class on a flight was £10, in 2012 it would be know that it may cost £1000 at the least to go on the highest class on a flight, this has caused many people not to travel.
