    This was the first power move of the Cold War. This is when Stalin decided to blockade all supply routes to West Berlin so they could take over and expand Communism. Afterwards, the US General decided to send planes dropping supplies in West Berlin.

    The war that split up the US in two. One side was people that was for the war, other half was people against the war. The US frowns upon this war because we knew we were the bad guys. This was all because we didn't want communism spreading through Vietnam.

    The Soviet Union built up a wall overnight separating democratic West Berlin from Communist East Berlin.

    Cuban Missile Crisis
    The Soviet Union and United States were at a standoff for 13 days over the Soviet Union wanted to send nukes to Cuba. JFK ordered a naval blockade around Cuba stopping Soviets from bringing nukes to Cuba. This all stopped when the Soviet Union promised to get missiles out of Cuba in agreement that the US doesn't invade Cuba.

    The phrase we call 911 signifies the day that two airplanes suicide bombed the Twin Towers in New York City and a failed suicide bomber plane going for the pentagon. This shook up the US and caused a lot more security.

    Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, Harvey hit Houston Texas. Both hurricanes caused lots of disaster and tragedies. Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. New Orleans is below sea level so a lot of water came in, and the hurricane on top of that.
